Cryogenic Vessel for Lease

FireCryo has been supplying cryogenic equipment to U.S. industries for over 50 years. We offer cryogenic vessels for lease, vacuum-insulated liquid cylinders, and pressure vessels built for safe, long-term industrial service. Whether you need a 180-liter liquid nitrogen dewar for a project or a fleet of vessels for ongoing production, we deliver code-compliant equipment backed by real technical support. Family-owned in Conroe, Texas, we skip the red tape. Real people answer the phone, quotes come back fast, and the vessels arrive ready for service.

THE PROBLEM WITH BUYING CRYOGENIC VESSELS

Cryogenic vessels are expensive assets, and ownership is more than the purchase price. You’re taking on vacuum recertification, pressure relief testing, DOT requalification, and storage footprint for vessels that may sit idle between projects. Gas demand shifts with contracts, seasons, and production ramps, but a purchased fleet stays the same size whether it’s in use or not. And when a vessel finally needs major service, that downtime is yours to eat. For most operations, working with an industrial cryogenic vessel supplier on a rental basis simply makes more financial sense.

EMERGENCY & SHORT-NOTICE DEPLOYMENT

Vessel down? Vacuum lost? Supplier contract gone sideways? We keep vacuum-insulated vessel rental units ready to ship for situations like these. Short-notice deployments, LN2, LOX, argon, and CO2 can be on the road within days, not weeks. We’ve covered plant turnarounds, hospital emergencies, lab deadlines, and field project ramps for half a century. If production can’t wait, call us directly. We’ll tell you honestly what’s in the yard, what it’ll cost, and how fast we can get it to your site. No salesperson callback, no runaround.

AVAILABLE VESSELS & CONFIGURATIONS

Our vacuum-insulated vessel rental fleet covers the configurations the U.S. industries actually use. Match the vessel to the job, not the other way around.

Vertical Cryogenic Vessels

Space-efficient stationary storage for shops, labs, and production floors with limited footprint.

Horizontal Cryogenic Vessels

Higher-capacity, lower-profile storage for high-volume industrial use and easier site access.

Vacuum-Insulated Liquid Cylinders

Portable units in 50, 120, 160, 180, and 230-liter capacities for transportable liquid gas vessel rental across service gases.

Low-, Medium- and High-Pressure Vessels

22 psig, 230 psig, and 350–500 psig configurations for liquid withdrawal, gas-use, and high-pressure applications.

INDUSTRIES WE SERVE

A cryogenic vessel on lease from FireCryo supports almost every industry that uses industrial or specialty gases. Our customers include:

Industrial Gas Distribution

Packagers and refillers running cylinder filling operations, merchant plants, and specialty gas blending.

Healthcare & Hospitals

Liquid gas vessel rental for backup oxygen supply, surgery centers, and long-term care.

Laboratories & Research

Food & Beverage

Liquid nitrogen for freezing and cooling, CO2 for carbonation, N2O for food processing.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

As an industrial cryogenic vessel supplier serving the U.S. since 1974, FireCryo maintains a rotating inventory of products from major manufacturers.

HOW THE LEASING PROCESS WORKS

Getting cryogenic vessels delivered shouldn’t turn into a procurement marathon. Here’s how we run it:

1

Call or Request a Quote

Talk to a real person, usually Julie or Jolene, about your gas, your pressure, and your timeline.

2

Vessel Match

We pull from our own fleet first. If the exact size or configuration isn't in-house, Julie works her nationwide dealer network to source it.

3

Inspection & Prep

Every vessel is vacuum-checked, pressure-tested, and inspected before it leaves Conroe. No surprises once it hits your site.

4

Delivery & Set

We coordinate freight anywhere in the continental U.S. and hand the vessel over ready for service.

5

Ongoing Support

Requalification, vacuum repair, and replacement units are one phone call away for the life of the lease. We pick up when you call.

FLEXIBLE RENTAL OPTIONS

A cryogenic pressure vessel lease should fit the project, not force the project to fit the contract. We build terms around what the work actually needs:

WHY CHOOSE FIRECRYO

FireCryo has been in the cryogenic business for over 50 years, longer than most competitors have existed. Roy Plummer founded the company in 1974, and his daughter Julie McFarlane has run it since 1995. That’s 40 years of direct cryogenic experience from a founder who started on the shop floor as a vacuum technician. What you get when working with us:

A real person on the phone, no call centers

Competitive rates, not take-it-or-leave-it pricing

A nationwide dealer network for hard-to-find sizes and pressures through an industrial cryogenic vessel supplier you can actually reach

WHAT AFFECTS CRYOGENIC STORAGE VESSEL COST

Cryogenic storage vessel cost varies more than people expect, and there’s no single rate card that fits every project. A few factors drive the quote:

Capacity

Larger vessels (230L and up, or bulk) cost more per month than smaller 50–180L units, but often have a lower cost per liter stored.

Gas Service & Pressure Rating

High-pressure vessels (350–500 psig) and specialty-gas service are typically priced above standard low-pressure LN2 units.

Lease Duration

Short-term monthly rentals have different rate structures than multi-year lease commitments. Longer terms usually mean better monthly rates.

Delivery & Installation

Freight, site setup, and any tie-in support are included in the total, depending on location and site conditions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our rental fleet includes 1,500- to 12,000-gallon LN2, LOX, and LAR trailers; 10,000+ gallon LNG trailers; and 14- and 20-ton LCO2 trailers. Julie’s nationwide network handles unusual sizes.

Yes. Our cryogenic transport trailers meet DOT MC-338 specification for insulated cargo tank motor vehicles, with current annual external visual inspections and 5-year pressure testing on file.

Liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, liquid CO2, and LNG are all standard services. Specialty-gas trailers are sourced on request.

Depending on size, location, and availability, often within days — sometimes the same week for emergencies. Call us, and we’ll give you a real timeline.

Yes. Operating a cryogenic transport trailer requires a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements. FireCryo arranges freight; you don’t need to source your own driver.

Most units come equipped with ambient vaporizers, final-line pressure regulation, and torch manifolds, letting you use the trailer as an on-site supply without additional infrastructure.

No hard minimum. Monthly terms work for most short-duration projects.
